Our Mission
The mission of The Tyra Banks TZONE Foundation is to build a sisterhood movement among women and girls by raising funds and making grants to community-based nonprofits that serve low-income, disadvantaged girls. The Foundation is committed to supporting visionary organizations that enable women and girls to achieve their full potential. TZONE funds nonprofits organizations that foster supportive female relationships through innovative programs and services that promote personal accountability, self-esteem, goal setting and healthy lifestyles. TZONE also encourages philanthropy to support women and girls by increasing awareness of the needs, aspirations and accomplishments of outstanding women-led organizations. About TZONE's FoundersTZONE was co-founded by Tyra Banks and Carolyn London, the dynamic mother/daughter team who were the creative force that brought the TZONE camps to life. Together they connected with the campers, always working to fashion a place where girls would create a sisterhood, learn about themselves, and gain the self-confidence to become successful and powerful young women. When the TZONE camps graduated to become a national foundation, Tyra and Carolyn were still the energy that kept the spirit of TZONE alive through their charitable organization. Their work resulted in resources being donated to groups that give girls and young women the opportunity to support each another, pursue their passions and live their dreams. TZONE has always been something special that Tyra and Carolyn have shared and believe it is one of the most important accomplishments they have achieved together.
